Asteria Aerospace demonstrated their indigenously designed and developed micro drone, the A200-XT, at the Gwalior Drone Mela, which was attended by dignitaries such as Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, and many more.
The A200-XT is a micro sized multirotor drone, less than 2 kg in weight, with ability to take off and land vertically from a confined area. It features a swappable payload capability, unique in this category, with the ability to carry a high zoom video camera for daytime operations and change to a thermal camera for night-time surveillance and security applications. The A200-XT also offers an omni-directional obstacle detection and avoidance capability ensuring complete operational safety.

“It can be easily carried and operated by a single pilot and has omni-directional obstacle detection and avoidance, which makes it operational friendly and can be used by the Military, Central Armed Police Forces, state level Law Enforcement Agencies, and for security of critical infrastructure”, he further added.
While packed with such advanced features, the A200-XT drone offers class leading flight times of over 40 minutes and a video link range of more than 4 km. Single pilot can operate the A200-XT with a handheld controller making its operational footprint compact, portable and rapidly deployable. Asteria’s proprietary Mission Control software allows point-and-click command and control of the drone with an intuitive graphical user interface. The A200-XT also supports out-of-the-box integration with Asteria’s GenesisTM cloud platform which provides real-time flight operation management from any remote location.
All flight operations of the A200-XT drone are fully automated with single click take off, dynamic waypoint navigation with geofencing, and single click Return to Launch/Land. Integrated failsafe flight modes provide protection against low battery, loss of communication link, and loss of critical navigation sensors.
